The cowboy is an iconic figure in film and television and various makeup techniques are crucial to complete the character. In the video below you can learn some quick and easy steps on how to apply dirt and blood using Ben Nye products.

It’s a perfect tutorial for anyone wanting to bloody up their costume and maybe get down and dirty with their existing design. Darren has already put on a few prosthetics on the models lip and eyebrow beforehand from Brian Sipes’ “Got Flesh?” line. He then uses all Ben Nye makeup to complete his look. He leaves the final makeup up to the artist in how far they would like to take these techniques.
