Dark Blood perfectly replicates the appearance of oxidized blood, allowing artists to create deeper and aged blood simulations. The viscous liquid utilizes a corn syrup base to remain fluid for a realistic finish and optimal working time.
Dark Blood is safe to use on the face, body, props, and wardrobe. Although it’is not flavored, it is safe to use in and around the mouth. This versatile product is an essential for any Halloween enthusiast, SFX, trauma simulation, or film & television makeup artist.
Due to the dense red pigmentation, spot testing on skin and fabric is advised before full application.
Apply Dark Blood with a flat brush, stipple sponge, texture brush, or disposable cotton swab. Pour it into a small cup first for easier application. Place Dark Blood in the deepest crevasse of prosthetics for enhanced realism.
Dark Blood washes off the skin with warm, soapy water and washes out of most fabrics with ease.
Dark Blood pairs beautifully with the creme colors in our Zombie and Monster Wheel to help age any ghoulish makeup design. Use it to age and add character to our Latex Prosthetics. Pair it with Fresh Scab to create even more intense injuries and blood simulations.
