The Bald Cap Stipple Wheel consists of four practical creme shades for use following a bald cap application. Capillary Stipple and Peacock Blue are used for imitating tones that appear to be submerged beneath the surface layer of skin. Our densely pigmented concealer shade MY-2 Normal is included, alongside CL-25 Steel Grey to help create hair shadow on the top of the bald cap.
This compact wheel fits easily in any makeup kit or touch-up bag and the clear lid keeps colors visually accessible at all times. This wheel is ideal for use by any theatrical, special effects, or cosplay makeup artist.
28gm./ 1oz. – Expect 16-100 applications per shade
Use a stipple sponge or a Stipple Texture Brush in order to apply colors to a bad cap. Use Capillary Stipple and Peacock Blue in order to underpaint, and create the deepest layers of color in the skin. Stipple the MY-2 concealer shade generously to create a blank canvas effect while allowing the red and blue undertones to show through from previous layers.
To simulate hair shadow, stipple CL-25 Steel Grey over the scalp, and use it to define a hair line.
Set creme colors with Neutral Set or Colorless Luxury Powder.
Gently wipe off makeup with Quick Cleanse on a cotton pad. Wash off residue with soap and water, oil-free Hydra Cleanse, or a facial wipe.
Prep bald caps for the creme colors in the Bald Cap Stipple Wheel by applying a light layer of Castor Sealer across the entire bald cap. For a more accurate match for skin tones, use this wheel alongside our MatteHD Creme Foundations. For high definition enhancements, layer these creme colors with our Alcohol-Activated Palettes.
